Going Gainesville is excited to announce we have teamed up with Zandra’s Taqueria & The QBE Foundation to raise funds to support Old School Kitchen.
Old School Kitchen has a mission which is two-fold. They are putting restaurant workers who are recently unemployed due to the COVID-19 crisis back to work while producing mass quantities of prepared to-go meals: frozen, refrigerated, and warm to target those that cannot heat the prepared meals.
Secondly, they will provide vital nutrition assistance to families and individuals that are identified for financial assistance. They are working as #Foodheroes to deliver meals AND distribute meals through pick-up at their kitchen in Haymarket.
